BIO: Maria Vargo is an Early Childhood Educator with over 15 years’ experience in a variety of childcare settings in education, supervisory and management roles. She has worked with children of all ages from toddler to school age. Her passion for working with children with special needs (along with her training and experience) led her to a position with Vancouver Supported Child Development. It was a difficult decision to resign from that amazing role after having twins but Maria is happy running a LNR child care program in her home in order to be home with her busy toddlers.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Join this participatory session to gain a better understanding on why children engage in challenging behaviours and learn concrete, evidence based strategies that can help support the success of all children in child care.
