What it’s Like – The Changing Role of the Canadian Dad
How do we perceive the Dads we work with? In the often female dominated setting of drop-in’s and child-care services, interactions with Dads can be confusing, and less productive than we may like. What are some of the keys to providing an inclusive and welcoming response to the other parent of the children we work with? Join us for an interactive workshop with Abby Dads staff, and possibly, a parent guest speaker that has chosen to step out and embrace his parenting role. Hear his personal experience, and participate in an interactive group that will focus on how to create a more Dad friendly environment.
