In this workshop participants will engage in lots of group discussion and reflect on their inclusive practice. Participants will review the BC ECE list of competencies, ELF and Reggio practice around the principles of relationship based guidance. Participants will also be given evidence based resources to support the ideology of relationship building, to better understand and support inclusion of all children.
Objectives:
Review the BC ECE list of competencies, ELF and Reggio principles around relationship building and inclusive practice.
Explore relationship building principles and appreciate why these are important to better support children with challenging behaviours.
Learn about evidence based resources that support an inclusive environment in early learning.

Presenter Information
Raised in a large and lively family in East Vancouver, Ana knew her life's purpose was working with children. Since earning a Diploma in ECE, Special Needs and Infant/Toddler Education, she has worked with children of all ages with differing developmental needs in various childcare settings. Ana has now made it her mission to share her passion and knowledge of child care through creating her own workshops.
