Please join us in understanding and supporting children with ADD & ADHD. Through workshops, 19 years of working in child care settings as well as being diagnosed with ADHD as a child, I will be sharing some great tips on how to embrace the great advantages of having ADHD/ADD. We will talk about how to support the child’s needs, inclusive activities that strengthen the relationships of the child living with ADD/ADHD as well as strategies to assist the child with organizing thoughts, routines, circle time behaviour and transitions. We all learn in our own unique way… It’s our job as educators and mentors to help each child to the best of our ability- find their own path of learning. If we support the many wonderful attributes of living with ADD/ADHD, children will learn how to channel their energy through creativity, leadership, responsibility and friendship.
