Let’s be honest, we have totally over-sanitized the concept of play from childhood to adulthood. A workshop for practitioners, educators and the
curious who are ready to engage, learn and connect with getting down to the nitty gritty of the messiness of play. Participants will play with dirt, paint, glue, water, dyes and more. A fun and interactive workshop to experience the importance introducing games, activities and projects to support an understanding of play that requires getting one’s clothes and hands a bit dirty. Play is diverse, infinite and critical to developing positive personal identity. Pigpen reminds us the importance of making sure there is room for a little messiness in our lives.
