Social changes, such as an increase in female participation in the workforce and various non-traditional family compositions have resulted in a greater demand for group child care for infants and toddlers. The goals of this workshop are to highlight the importance of successful and positive transitions from home to group child care for infants, toddlers and their families as well as to seek better ways to accommodate them.
Objectives:
• To understand the significance of supporting infants, toddlers and their families.
• To review theoretical backgrounds and the latest studies.
• To be able to connect theory to practice.
