Incorporating food literacy in to the child care setting

Garden-to-plate, farm-to-table, seed-to-plate……these are terms being referenced everywhere as we move forward in to the ever growing trend of going back to the basics with food choices and food production.

Gramma D is a long time gardening enthusiast who dedicates her time to mentoring children and enhancing food options and choices for children and families.Dawn works tirelessly with local schools, committees and organizations to impact education, policy, and practice.

Dawn will lead us through this evening of information as well as share some delicious ways to add goodness to snacks and meals….Dawn will also make a salad roll with the participants that they can enjoy for snack
