Ever watched those home renovation shows and thought…I’d love to do that with my child care environment! Well, here is a workshop that will hopefully help inspire you to see your space in a different light, learn about the power and many uses of ‘loose parts,’ look at your community businesses and how you can support one another AND see a $78 room makeover that was done in a preschool.

Kirsti has a background in Fine Arts, is trained in Responsive Curriculum and has been Reggio inspired since 1999, upon graduation of ECE Kirsti worked directly with children on the floor in Reggio inspired centres. Consistently seeking more growth and development this eventually led to holding such positions as: the Director of a Not-for-Profit preschool in Kerrisdale, an Outreach Consultant with the Child Care Resource and Referral, a Coordinator in a multi age child care centre with Alexandra Neighbourhood House at Kensington Prairie Community Centre, working with Refugee families in the First Steps program as a 0-6 liaison to City of Surrey services and having the position of ECE Facilitator with the City of Surrey preschool programs.
