Musculoskeletal injuries (MSIs) are the aches and pains that we may feel in our body. They can limit our ability to work at our optimum. Come and learn about how you can protect your body and reduce the risk of injuries while working in your child care program.
Objectives:
• To identify possible risk factors for injury.
• To learn about ideas for reducing risk of injury while caring for children.

Gina is a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist (CCPE) at WorkSafeBC. She first learned about the risk of injury in child care work when she worked as the UBC ergonomist.
