We have all heard that children learn best through play, but how can they learn if they’re “just playing”? What does that actually look like and what are they really learning? Discover ways to support children’s learning through thoughtfully planned environments and a responsive curriculum, with real examples taken from a licensed Multi-Age center. See how to make this learning visible to the children, their families, and the community, through careful observation and documentation. This workshop is suitable for family child care providers who are new to child care, as well as anyone who would like to review how play fosters learning.
