The Kids Have Stress Too! (KHST! ®) program is based on evidence that with help, young children can learn practical strategies to relieve stress, and effective ways to respond to stressful situations. By learning to cope with life’s ups and downs, children develop healthy strategies that help them to adapt, self-regulate, be resourceful, feel competent and become more resilient.
This workshop is for individuals who have taken the full day KHST Pre-School and Kindergarten Program Facilitator’s workshop. This day will be devoted to supporting participants to take the KHST program to their workplace and beyond to support other professionals interested in implementing the KHST program with young children and families they work with.
Participants will receive all relevant materials required to host KHST Facilitator workshops, including additional online resources and ongoing support from The Psychology Foundation of Canada.
