This session will review the literature on the challenges of working with families led by parents with mental health issues. Participants will learn of the developmental and social implications for infants of having a primary caregiver who suffers from a  mental illness. We will review the interventions as well as challenge ourselves to examine the obstacles to those interventions in our own systems.
