Learn classroom strategies for responding to and supporting children who have experienced trauma. Discuss early brain development and the role it plays in developing emotional regulation.
This workshop will benefit community service providers who support children and families in a variety of settings. Participants will:
- Learn creative process strategies to respond to children presenting trauma.
- Explore how the developing brain is directly related to emotional regulation.
- Discuss common challenges and case scenarios in early years family, refugee and settlement programs.
