Parents and families come to our programs from a wide range of experiences and with different perspectives. During this practical workshop, we will discuss the importance of partnering with parents, creating open communication practices and developing strategies with parents to promote positive behaviour in preschool-aged children.
Objectives:
• Share and learn from our experiences as a group.
• Leave ready to apply strategies developed together.

Sarah Chapman-Chen.
Presenter Information
Sarah has been in the early childhood field for over 20 years, during which time she has had opportunities to work directly with children and families in a variety of capacities. While working at Westcoast, Sarah also provided anti-bias and diversity training throughout the province. She is currently operating a licensed family child care program in her home.
