Grit is defined as “passion and perseverance for very long term goals.” 90% of children’s social, emotional and cognitive development happens in the first five years of life, what about the development of grit? This workshop will examine the factors that support the development of grit, motivation and resiliency, which are key to helping children thrive and become successful adults. The Got Grit workshop will look at research and practice to engage participants to make an impact and get “gritty” when teaching kids.
