Learn some great activities and program ideas to promote friendship, self-confidence, and self-esteem in your School Aged Care Program. We will discuss the struggles school-aged children deal with and how they can develop new bonds and friendships among peers. We will discuss and practice some drama exercises that can help build children’s self-esteem and comfort with public speaking. Bring ideas and have fun learning new games!

Presenter Information
Christie has been the Coordinator of Little Mountain Out of School Care since 2003. She has her ECE, Special Needs, and School Age Certification, as well as Applied Behavioural analysisCertificate. Christie has worked with children aged infancy to adolescence. She has enjoyed work experiences in Vancouver, Australia and New Zealand. She views her role as a great way to make a positive impact on a child and family’s life.
