Pack your imagination and come on board a story telling adventure using felt stories. This intriguing vehicle for sharing rhymes and short stories will encourage children to enter the world of creativity, and imagination by using their senses. During this workshop we will discuss why it is a good idea to use felt stories, how to organise and store them, what tools and materials you’ll need to make a felt story, and common problems you may experience regarding felt stories.
Note: In the second part of the workshop we will make a simple felt story to take home and use the next day.
Objectives:
- Explore the world of felt sorties.
- Discuss how to make felt stories.
- Make a simple felt story that’s ready to be used.
