Description:
Want a quick and reliable way to communicate with parents and others about the happenings at your centre or in your classroom? How about a newsletter? Once designed a newsletter is an easy, flexible and environmentally friendly way to communicate in the 21st century. Newsletters can be printed or emailed and allow you to highlight the important things happening at school in a timely manner. Newsletters are also a great way to provide reminders, share student work, offer tips to families, and even highlight events and opportunities for your families in the community. Best of all, newsletters are virtually free to create!
Objectives:
- Learn about best practices when creating a newsletter for your classroom or centre.
- Electronic or paper? Both? Discuss how to get the most readership from your newsletter.
- Explore resources to help you produce an eye-catching, informative and concise newsletter.
