Description:
This workshop will introduce participants to two cultural kits and the ways in which they reflect Indigenous perspectives and cultural protocols. Participants will come away with an understanding of Indigenous place-based pedagogies and learn how to use the materials, stories, and activities in culturally respectful ways.

Presenter Information
Maureen is an Indigenous ECE Cultural Advisor for the BC Aboriginal Child Care Society (BCACCS). Maureen is of Namgis/ Scottish ancestry and grew up in North Vancouver. She has a strong cultural connection to land/place based learning ingrained from her lived experiences.
