This hands-on workshop will explore ways to guide children in exploring and creating meaningful experiences with a variety of recycled materials. The Reggio-inspired approach and the focus on process versus product will be discussed. The teachers will become aware of the joy and value of observation, documentation and collaboration.
Objectives:
• To understand the basic principles of the Reggio Emilia approach.
• To learn ways to create beautiful stuff using recycled materials.
• To discuss focusing on process versus product.

Pooja has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 19 years of experience in the early childhood field as a teacher, facilitator, supervisor and instructor. She is very passionate about finding ways to promote children's creativity and expression of discovery.
