Young children’s sense of self is inextricably tied to their sense of family. In order for a child to feel valued, included, respected and welcomed, they need to know and feel that their family is also valued, included, respected and welcomed. There are a variety of reasons why we may find ourselves challenged in reflecting this for children of gay and lesbian families. Join us to examine this issue and explore ways to ensure that we are inclusive and welcoming for all children and families.
